INTRODUCTION

well... le'me introduce myself to you before you explore my thoughts through my art poetry and pictures..!!

i was born in a sikh family, i completed my schooling last year from st. martins school and presently i am learning spanish and garment construction.

i had the passion for art since childhood but i never took it as a career option, as i got busy in so many other things lately i completely leaft painting... but i've taken it over again, to revive the art in me. i believe its a god's gift, so if ever i earn anything through my art as in poetry or paintings i will donate all the money to BEING HUMAN FOUNDATION.

as far as my modelling career is concerned i stepped into it with a pagent called Miss Teen India (2008) since then i did a few prints and photoshoots... but when i came to know the deep down secrets of this industry. it turned my mind off being an actoress, so i am not proceeding further in that industry anymore but still i believe if there's something like a surprise gift in fate for me, i may get a dream role in a bulky banner!

as a 18 yr old, sweet teen i believe i have had quite an over-detailed experience in a few industries by now.. so i'm jus sitting back and waiting for the right time & right things o happen!

read over... to get a hint of my poetry.. thoughts... experiences.. art and me!!

god bless!

takecare!

PUNJABI BY NATURE

punjabis are spread all over the world today! but no matter they are gulping hams and sodas in busy New York streets, or having afgani gosht in Burj Al Arab or jus' sipping lassi driving a tractor on thier fields in punjab... they always preserve thier heritage & repect it with heart and soul!

The vibrant punjabi culture can be still felt in whatever they do and wherever they go! they proundly say "dil apna punjabi"...!

This is the reason why you can spot cool indo-american guys doin bhangra in Vegas and also find 'aallu k parathey' dripping with ghee in vancouver! Now, this is called style with a tag "khao piyo aish karo mitro...!". these guys have managed to make New York being called MINI PUNJAB today.... the best city on earth today has the higest population of punjabis!

No matter how modern we may be... and how wonderful parts of the world we have explored... a true punjabi heart will find solace after all in a pind having 'sarson da saag' & 'makki di rotti' (punjabi traditional food).
i salute the spirit of punjabis!!
and being a sikh myself....at last prouday i must say 'dil apna punjabi'!!

PUNJABI VIRSA

Punjabi culture is vibrant, meaningful, royal and rich...
From years sikh girls & boys have been following traditionions like keeping long hair though it has a deeper meaning to it than jus being a cultaral practice. Years back, sikh community was formed out of hindus as a sort of army to protect them and fight against muslims who wanted to forcefully convert hindus into muslims. hindus were tortured badly by muslims,

many men were killed, many women were rapped in front of thier husbands, children's heads were cut and made into garlands that were forfully made to be worn by thier mothers. Inocent families were distroyed... its was bloodshed everywhere.
sikh were a army formed to protect them from this myhem. and so the gurus wanted them to follow strict dicipline and rules! they were asked to never cut hair & beared, to make them more inclined and soley dedicated to thier mission rather than looking after themselves. they lost thier lives to save the respect & dignity of hindus..

similarly, punjabi culture has many other interesting facts.....
its a culture with no specific boundation or obligation like fasting, keeping away from non-veg or any such thing!
sikh are born warrior and a baby born into a sikh family has its immense courage and helpful nature in its genes.
sikh take it as a challange to go through ups and downs in life and never complain about anything!
As well as they go out of their way to help others!

TRAQUILIZING DUBAI

Out off all the high-tech and wonderful places in world, my ultimate pick is this beautiful place located along the southern coast of persian gulf on the Arabian peninsula. It is one of the seven emirates of UAE, and the most popular of them all. The traqulising & adictive..... DUBAI

Its present prime minister & vice president is Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, a successor of the royal & magnificient Al Maktoum dynasty ruling dubai since 1833. Oil wells found in 1966, brought a massive change in the lifestyle & on the whole face of dubai... the population of the city from 1968 to 1975 grew by over 300%, by some estimates. Dubai is a home to people from all over the world, presisely the highest percentage of populaion is Indian (42.3%) and second highest are Arab (26.1%). The city has touch zenith rising from ashes in last 4 decades.

Its a dream like contemporary paradise. The tallest, the biggest, the largest in all aspects of infrastrusture is here. The world's tallest tower (Burj Dubai), the world's largest shopping mall (Dubai Mall), the world's largest fountain (Dubai fountain), the world's tallest hotel (Rose Tower) and Dubailand, which will be almost twice the size of the Walt Disney World Resort.

But thing that i love the most about Dubai is its man made islands. The Palm Islands , three largest artificial islands in the world The Palm Jumeirah, The Palm Jebel Ali and The Palm Deira. These symbolise the spirit of dubai... that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE.
If we want it, we will have it, anyhow!

MY POETRY

here is some of my litrary work.......!! go thru them... n ull find a bit of fantasy... n pain in all poems...!! thats how i love life to be.... a pinch of nebulous fables with vieled pain....!!

AM I HERE?

My heart is clear,
My mind’s clogged.
Oh... Am I here?
O’ am I not?

I don’t know what I mean to you,
Will I be reasonable or ever confused…
The dilemma ends no better than that.
You got me shattered inside but covered intact.

Sooner or later when one day,
You lay back and realize,
The secret answers you’ll find,
Nostalgia will take over…
Tears falling down your eyes..!!

The lady in your arms,
Was merged in your soul,
And being away from me,
You’ll never be whole.
The feeling of being incomplete,
What I can’t do nothing about…
Is goin’ to be yours all life, throughout!

I’m waiting to be told a fierce truth,
Or I’m crying for an unknown lie…
I jus don’t appreciate being away,
Everyday I live,
I almost die!

Beautiful!!

Beautiful!!

Lying flocculent serene under starlight…
Covered with voile glitter,
Refulgent golden curled mane,
Senses inexact… sane or insane?
Inebriated so as you know,
A florid trice of a beautiful illusion!
Innocuous jeopardy cast your closed lashes.
Leaves no benchmark, no conclusion!!

VIRTUES

VIRTUES

There’s no truth said since ever,
Neither a betrayal is ever faked.
Though a heart knows what it goes through,
And solely decides what’s lost and what’s made.

This world is a pauper,
Gives nothing so nothing it takes away.
As such is life’s circle,
All accomplished since ages stands nowhere today!

Its just an illusion,
What this world calls virtues.
New illusions may follow with time.
When the kingdom bestows a new king
New muzzle vista sounds sublime

Nothing here is too great a deal
All living and dead are ineffectual
And no matter you tyrannize or stroll
This race infers all natural.

A dying soul may wish to redact,
His void years with some obsequious trice.
And want to set an epitome,
For those struggling through this bestial life.

Nostalgia

Nostalgia

It’s the smoke of my burning passion
Getting more intense within me,
Or its you ruling my heart,
Overshadowing my thoughts,
& never letting me be.

I’m hollow inside & behind those eyes
There’s nothing more than pain.
Oh! Come by morning & com twilight,
My lonely soul still remains the same!

Hold me in your arms,
Let me be lost & let this life go by…
Don’t leave me alone… in darkness & silence…
Away from you I’ll die!!

Untangle & cease the reasons that keep us away.
Oh! My love set me free.
When I look into your heart through your eyes
I can see nothing more than me!!
